Ivan Asinovsky was born June 24, 1980 in Leningrad and is a Russian Sculptor. He attended the I. E. Repin Art Instituete in Saint-Petersburg, graduating in 2005. His work ranges broadly from traditional genres to personalized objects and installations as well as monuments. Accordingly, he makes use of different materials: from porcelain to bronze to cast iron to concrete. His main theme is glorification of humanity but notwithstanding the theme his works are never sentimental or bombastic. They are ironic and kind, sometimes sad, always powerful and extremely precise. In 2005 Asinovsky has become a member of Saint-Petersburg Union of Artists. You can find his work in public as well as private collections.
This website is his main website, made in collaboration with Ivan.
